4th Graders Jump Rope for Heart: Help Support The American Heart Association
The 4th Graders at Copley Ft. Island Primary School have been practicing for a Jump Rope for Heart half time show for the Copley High School boys basketball game on February 12, 2016. They put in many early Thursday mornings with Coach Kathy
Casper and Mrs. Janice Hatch before school to choreograph the event. More importantly, they taught the kids the importance that physical activity has on your heart. This was the 6th year they organized this event which not only was performed during halftime, but also debuted as a 45 minute show at the primary school on Friday. Certainly an emotional event!!
Hat’s off to Coach Casper for putting in all this hard work for a good cause. My son Joey has been jumping with the group the entire time and loved it so much he inspired his younger sister Jane to start jumping!! They even use a moon hopper to jump and show off their skills!!
Watch the video below to see what Coach Casper has these kids doing!! It will bring tears to your eyes!
