Need a new treadmill? Check out this review guide on the best treadmills of 2016. I personally run on the Pro-Form Boston Marathon 3.0 Treadmill. I haven’t published a full review on it, but the main reasons I chose it was the ability to run down hill. It has a 6° downgrade which is great for working on your leg turnover without “beating-up” your legs. It also has a hard surface which simulates outdoor running. Don’t be fooled into the philosophy that your knees need a “softer” surface to run on. You want your treadmill to be as close to possible as a the asphalt or concrete you are used to running on. A change in surface creates injuries, not the surface itself.

Our pick for best treadmill is an ergonomic running machine that’s a dream to run on. Plus, it’s quiet, portable, and has a crisp 10″ touch screen.
