Is there scientific data to prove heel striking?
|To date, no scientific data exists to suggest that a runner should strike with their heel while landing. Why do more than 75% of runner’s land on their heel during foot strike while running? We’re not sure, but here’s a video demonstrating some of the ads that shoe companies were running over the past 30 years advocating a heel strike. They had no scientific bases for these ads. They were never sued. Our world of runners were forever changed.
