|Mo Farah is only the second athlete in history to have won double gold medals at both the Olympic Games and the World Championships in long distance events. His biomechanics were examined and discussed in the article that follows. Yet another example of how elite runners are on there midfoot and not there heels when striking. This allows a quicker cadence and the ability to absorb force and turnover the legs quicker.

Nice article, but Mo Farah is a FOREFOOT striker, not a midfoot striker.
That’s to be debated. Landing on forefoot or midfoot can be considered synonymous. Sprinters will tend to be more on forefoot then midfoot but for purposes of injured prevention and form we look for either one of the aforementioned or heel strike. Heel strike being bad.
