Below is a link to my practice website which contains a video of an in office surgery for removal of an ingrown toenail. Runners commonly present to my office with these and are terrified that they will have to stop running. Typically one only needs a day or two if rest after having this minor surgical procedure. In fact, the relief is so great that as soon as the anesthesia wears off the pain is gone.
