Win a pair of Vibram FiveFingers!
My blog has been in existence now for almost one year. I started it after speaking to someone on a plane after returning from a lecture I gave on running at Vibram USA. This person was fascinated about what I was doing with FiveFingers and the success I was having at transitioning runners into more minimalist shoes. They wanted to read more about what I was doing and if I wrote a blog. It didn’t exist. Thus began Dr. Nicks Running Blog. The goal was to spread the word about minimalist running shoes and the site has since evolved into all aspects of running. Many runners have reached out to me with their problems and questions, and it has been amazing to be able to help them by providing information here. I have even had patients travel several hours to be seen for issues more complex then could be solved by simply “reading” on the site. I’ve received tons of stories from runners who have transitioned to minimalist shoes and resolved a chronic injury.
As a thank you, as well as to spread the word on some of these fascinating stories, we are giving away a pair of Vibram FiveFingers to the “most unique” or “successful” story to a runner or non runner who has resolved an injury by transitioning out of traditional running shoes and into minimalist shoes. The story will be featured on Dr. Nick’s Running Blog which is read by over 15,000 readers a months (and rapidly growing!!) and the individual will receive a pair of Vibram FiveFingers of their choice.
The deadline for all stories is friday May 24th.
