Fetcheveryone
Fetcheveryone is a free website for runners, cyclists, swimmers, triathletes, and even people who rarely bother. You can capture everything you do in our training log and spend so long analysing it, you forget to wash. You can discuss running in our forum, find races and people near you, submit pictures of yourself, blog about your experiences both in and out of your running shoes, bet on other runners scoring PB’s – and a whole bunch of other stuff.

SkinnyRunner
I started reading a lot of health, fitness, beauty blogs (you’re right, I don’t have much of a life) and decided to start my own as a way to keep myself accountable with my workouts and somewhat healthy living, but mostly because let’s be honest, I want to talk about myself.

Sweat Science
Sweat Science is a column about the science of training and fitness. With “what does the evidence show?” as his mantra, author Alex Hutchinson looks for the latest studies on all topics related to the science of fitness, ranging from neuroscience to nutrition, and takes a hard look at what they do (and don’t) tell us about how to run faster or live longer. Alex Hutchinson is a former physicist and national-class runner, and a National Magazine Award-winning science journalist. His latest book is called Which Comes First, Cardio or Weights? Fitness Myths, Training Truths and Other Surprising Discoveries from the Science of Exercise.

Running and Rambling
At Running and Rambling you’ll find a little bit of everything related to trail running: race reports, gear reviews, photo tours, general training discussions, and occasional assorted nonsense. Donald is a recreational athlete, physical therapist, newspaper columnist, barefoot aficionado, and father of three with more than 20 years of experience in endurance sports. I studied exercise physiology at UCLA, where I was a member of the varsity rowing team, and I attended graduate school at the University of North Carolina. For the past few years I’ve been heavily involved in the minimalist running movement, providing in-depth product reviews and contributing to the development process with a variety of minimalist and natural footwear companies.

Hungry Runner Girl
Janae Jacobs started her Hungry Runner Girl blog after getting injured running the Boston Marathon in 2010, not because she was looking for answers or support; she just got bored. “If I’m not running, I might as well talk about running,” she said. Although her site is primarily personal stories of her day-to-day life, she thinks it attracted people because of the hard training she was doing for a sub-3:00 marathon and then because of the struggles she faced after developing a stress fracture. When she got pregnant about a year ago, it also drew more readers to her blog. No one ever said that stay-at-home moms aren’t a large market online.
