App for tracking shoe sole wear pattern.
|Here’s an interesting app (apparently it’s only available for the iPhone) that allows one to take pictures of their running shoes and track the wear patterns.

The app’s creator is Dr. Ty Vachon and you can read more about him on his website at http://orainformatics.com/

Hello . I have hallux rigidis of both feet but the right foot is worse. I switched from Hoka shoes (needed wide toe box) to Altra running shoes just for walking. After about a year I noticed severe knee tightness, aching knee joint that would wake me up, pain around my right knee and also a severe pain in my right butt muscle. I have switched back to the hoka’s but still have some knee pain. I am confused on what is the best shoe for me. Any advice is appreciated.
